The Experience Volcano Festival is a celebration of the culture, people and traditions that make the diversity of the Volcano Area so unique. More than just a gateway to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, the Volcano Area is home to many activities and relaxing opportunities. Get a taste of everything that Volcano has to offer during this festival on July 25th & 26th 2026.
This festival showcases music, Hawaiian culture, artists in action, tours, demonstrations, kids and ohana activities, happy hours, restaurant specials, food trucks and much more!
Almost all of our events will be free to the public! So mark you're calendars now for the festivities. If you are visiting the
Big Island take advantage of the many lodging opportunities the Volcano Area has to offer!
Looking For Food Trucks!
2 Food Truck Spots Remain
All of our vendor spots are now full! Mahalo to everyone who submitted an application this year! Our waitlist has no one on it at the moment, but you can ask to be placed on our waitlist. Should something open up in the next few weeks we will be happy to follow up with you.
We are looking for 2 Food Trucks to be placed at Volcano Winery during both festival days.

Vendor Fee: $60
Absence Fine If Both Days Are Not Attended: $40
All vendors will be required to attend both festival days or will be subject to a "vendor absence fine."

Although you can park anywhere at the festival, we encourage festival goers to park for the shuttle service at
Volcano Golf Course. Yellow Dot On Our Map.

Volcano's 'Ohia Lehua Half Marathon And 5K debuted alongside the 1st Experience Volcano Festival in 2019. Since then both events have been proud to continue our partnership to create an expansive, diverse and wonderful series of events for all visitors and locals who wish to "experience volcano."

Public Safety
Keep an eye out for runners, volunteers and pedestrians on our roads! We work closely with the County of Hawaii and our partners to ensure that public safety at all of our venues and events is observed. Masks are not required this event, but you may wear a mask if you choose to. Mahalo nui for your consideration of the safety of all who attend!
Join Us For Our 1st Volcano Carb Load!
This year Kīlauea Lodge and Experience Volcano Hawaii are proud to expand our level of participation with the Ohi'a Lehua Half by offering an exclusive Carbo Load take-away dinner during packet pick-up hours at Kilauea Lodge in Volcano Village on July 24th, 2026.
Runners and their ohana can utilize their name and runner registration number to access this runners special offer. The Carbo Loading take-away dinner cost $30 per take-away.
