These webcams are LIVE from the U.S.G.S. (United States Geological Survey) with autofocusing and pan-tilt-zoom! The cameras automatically focuses its view, and U.S.G.S. Hawaiian Volcano Observatory staff may change the view angle or zoom amount depending on eruptive activity.

Episode 18 of the ongoing Halemaʻumaʻu eruption ended abruptly at 1:28 p.m. HST on April 22. If the volcanic activity is consistent with past behavior, the next eruptive event will likely happen within the next week.
